Stone-laden ship capsizes in Bay

A ship loaded with stones capsized at sea in Bay of Bengal near Bagerhat's Dublar Char area in the early hours of this morning.

According to the basis of information BGB personnel rescued the entire crew of the ship the MV Beauty, in a press release, issued by Lieutenant Khandakar Taki.

The vessel fell when cracks formed on its floor as it was scheduled on its way to Khulna carrying 1,100metric tons of stone that were unloaded by Singapore's flag carrier "MV Sagar Ratan".

On Friday, the lighter vessel MV Desh Bandhu sank in the Pashur river carrying 885 tonnes of Diammonium Phosphate.
